Rawlings picks up Golden Boot at Midland Combination
Rugby Town U21 Striker Tom Rawlings picked up the golden boot award for finishing top scorer in the Midland Football Combination. The achievement looked even more impressive as Tom scored 46 goals from only 23 games where his nearest rival played 47 games with 45 goals. Tom who is part of the clubs on going partnership with The Strachen Football Foundation was delighted with the award. " I would like to say thank you to my coaches and teammates who have helped me achieve this award. It has been an adventure as in pre season I was dropped for a couple of games. I then started to train harder and was selected for a game scored 5 and its just gone on from there.more details click here... |
