This was an epic cup encounter between two quality sides. After a sluggish start the Tigers produced the first opportunity, a tidy pass from George to Oli Winn down the wing, who crossed for Bo who’s shot was well saved.

Alvis were passing the ball well and keeping there shape, out of nowhere Alvis roared into a 3 goal lead. One last chance saw George’s spectacular back heel volley saved by their keeper. Good work in goal from James kept the score to 3 and Tigers welcomed half time.
At half time the lads were set individual and team targets and asked to encourage at all times. The 2nd half saw a different Tigers take the pitch. Some neat foot-work by Charlie Nicholas and a great shot and goal. Game On ! Hudson then ended a great run by blasting in the 2nd. Tigers bossing the game now, as a long effort by George came back off the post.
Determined defending by Kaydon, Ollie Hughes, Toby and Oli Winn, inspired the equaliser with Kaydon hammering in a low drive. Tigers had the initiative, pressuring their defence at every opportunity. Two corners resulted in Hudson’s nestling in their net. What a comeback. Grassroots at it’s best.
