Rugby Town JFC Kestrels Under 9s

The Kestrels are a feeder team where all new players start life with Rugby Towns under 9's. The feeder teams goals are to give the players a chance to settle in and enjoy friendly matches against local teams.

Once the coaches are agreed that a player is confident and that there is a place for them in the league we speak to the parents and move the players during the season. We feel this is the best way to introduce a new players to our year group at the club.

Some players join us and are very quickly assimilated into league teams because their ability, attendance and attitude meet the requisite requirements laid down by the league team coaches.

In the month of October we will begin our programme of friendly matches which continue into June next year.

We would also like to ask any of the parents of the children in this group to join us as coaches and help us with the team. It is very rewarding and enjoyable.

We relish the challenge of taking new players and letting them enjoy their football. We intend to give the kids back their game this year and let them develop at their own pace.

Squad: Cameron Clarke Captain, , Tristan Williams, Billy Wagstaffe, Adam Round, Connor Bevan, Piotr Gebala, Michael Cable, Owen Richards, Dominic Deery and Cameron Spicer.
