Rugby Town JFC Bears Under 10s

We currently play in the Leicester & District Mutual Football League - Division Three We train once a week on saturday morning at kilsby Lane, some of our players train with Coeaver on a wednesday night in which they recieve very high standard coaching. We maintain that football is for everyone and the most important thing about the game is having FUN. Over the past two seasons the improvement in the teamwork has come together and the effort put in on the training ground started to pay dividends in the quality of their performances The Captain this year will once again be Adam Shaw and vice will be William Scott again, after doing such a fantastic job last season. At our annual presenation eveining in the summer,all of the players recieve a trophy for being in the team.there is an award for player of the year and most improved player of the year.Also becasue some of our players were involved in the success of winning the Tamworh cup they also got an award. Player of the Year-Adam Shaw Most improved player-Mathew Evans We are currently playing our last season at 7 aside. as of next summer we start playing 11aside. We all look forward to another successful and enjoyable season.

History The Bears team has been running for 4 years now and in that time there has been some new players,new coaches and now a new home ground. Currently the Team is managed by Chris Courtenay who had been with the team for nearly 4 years. having been assisatnt to the team for 2 years.He has compleated is FA Level 1 in Coaching Football Certificate, Emergancy first aid Trained and Child Protection Course of all where compleated in summer 2005. Assisting the team is Andy Tummon. who has been With the team for just over a year.Andy brings a lot of Experience,commitment and FUN to the team. Sponsored by: Lionverge
