The new indoor Sports facility was put forward and approved at Wednesday 15th August planning meeting.

An iconic facility which will house three thriving clubs Rugby Gymnastics Rugby Town Boys & Girls and Rugby Town Squash Club will be built at Kilsby Lane home currently to Rugby Town Junior Football and ladies clubs.

We aim to create a sports facility to continue the legacy of the Olympics in Rugby to Inspire the next generation and create sportsmen and women to compete at the highest level possible within all three sports.

It was a magic moment when the torch came through Rugby and thousands lined the streets just to get a glimpse of history. Everyone was inspired by that moment and even more so during the fantastic 15 days that we have just witnessed from venues around the country.

It is our committees remit to create a lasting legacy of the games and this facility is just the start of something big in the town of Rugby.
