The Pumas played in their last tournament of the under 7 season and how they impressed. The boys fought bravely in the summer sun to finish second in their group thanks to goals from Austin Bishop and Alfie Chamberlain and supported by their great team mates, Eben Ewing, James Catling, Oliver Gerrard and Beau Mcneilage, with Fynn Lafferty in goal making a sturdy defence against some good opponents.

The Pumas then faced Old Grammarians in the quarters and a 3-0 victory secured their place in the semis.

A tough game against Corby Warriors was next and again a great team performance winning 2-0 ensured the Pumas were into the final.

Up against one of our rivals of the season the boys faced Bedworth Warriors and a great goal from Alfie Chamberlain took the game to sudden death-golden goal before it finished up at penalties. Penalties taken by Alfie Chamberlain and Eben Ewing, with Fynn Lafferty between the sticks the Pumas won the final 2-1.

Champions at last, a great end to the Season.

Well done to all of the Rugby Town Pumas, the coaches are super proud!!
