RTJFC U10 Panthers v Coventrians U10 – Sunday 23 September 2018

The Rugby Town Juniors U10s Panthers played Coventrians U10s away at Holbrook Park.

This was the third match that the new squad members have played as a team this season and all conducted themselves with great attitude and respect.

The team passed the ball well and kept good possession throughout the game.  Alfie Large scored his debut goal for the Panthers in Striker position and was supported by his fellow players, Elliot McGlinchey and Ali Makki, who both dominated the midfield. A good pace was maintained by Ryan Owens and Desmond Asante, who were quick to move the ball up the pitch.

Kajetan Krasowski and Zachary Modiri-Minney played outstandingly in defence, with timely and well executed tackles, and clearing the ball to the forward players.

Goal Keeper Cameron Brown glided through the air beyond belief and made some brilliant saves to end the game in a draw.

Great team work from everyone involved with the Panthers, developing their skills week after week. A team to watch and one set to take over the division in no time! The cheers of support from the RTJFC Panthers’ parents could also be heard echoing across Holbrook Park in Coventry and possibly further.
