Lions played Tigers in a friendly match, which for the Tigers was their first ever game together as a team.

As expected, Lions controlled of the game from start to finish. George Newbold and Elijah Robinson turned defence into attack quickly, often catching out the Tigers defence. The under pressure Tigers then had to contend with the clever forward play of Aidan Lynch and Bobby Linnecor.

As the game progressed Tigers grew in confidence, but they found goalie Harry Marson alert to the danger when they attacked. Charlie Whittle, Ollie Broad and Luke Chow were linking up defence with midfield well, which allowed Lions to mount more pressure on the overworked Tigers defence. Tigers refused to give up though; they launched a series of attacks that eventually brought them success.

Both teams can be proud of their efforts and Lions wish Tigers every success for the rest of the season.
