The Tigers traveled to Northampton to play their last festival of an outstanding season.
With our goalie ill with sunstroke the lads had no subs, and to make matters worse Hudson was stung by a wasp before KO. So going into the the first match the Tigers only had 6 playing 7 a side! Remarkably they still took the lead through Henry Appiah, with Bo adding a second.

A great start for the lads.

With the format an 8 team round-robin on large pitches, goals were going to be hard to come by. In the second game Bo was on the receiving end of a bad foul and had to play out the rest of the day in goal. This reunited Toby Johnson and Oli Hughes at the back, and the pair along with Bo didn’t concede another goal in the group!
Goals came from Hudson (now better after minor surgery on his finger) Kaydon, Henry and a lovely volley from Oli Winn from a cross from Toby. With good wins against Delapre Dragons and Grange Park the lads topped the round-robin format.
Bizarrely they had to play a 7 minute semi final game, and despite dominating the game couldn’t find the target, and it was straight to pens.

Not to be this week, but the lads got invited by MK Dons to play their academy side after impressing with our style of play and winning the group.
